Purbasari HI-MATTE Lip Cream Review.

Today, I want to review a local product from Purbasari. Aren't you excited?
Purbasari is a very affordable brand, and easy to find. Recently, they launched their newest product called Purbasari HI-MATTE Lip Cream. Yeah, nowadays, almost every brand has liquid lipstick in their collection. it's a very hype product. This Purbasari HI-MATTE Lip Cream retails for (around) 45.000 IDR. Such a good deal! Is it a good product also? We'll see, let's move on to the review!
Packaging
This is how the packaging looks like. (I didn't keep the box, forgive me for that :p)
I like the packaging! Although it's cheap, it doesn't look cheap! I love the gold detail in the middle, and the black lid. I also love the fact that the bottle is clear, so we can see clearly the colour inside. This lip cream comes in a doe foot aplicator, nothing special.
It feels light, though, that's the only con I found in the packaging.
Scent
This matte lip cream smells very sweet! It doesn't bother me because the scent doesn't linger,in fact, I really like how it smells.
Pigmentation and Texture
I bought the shade 05 FREESIA. it's a very rich red with blue undertone that compliments most skin tone I would say, very pretty red. (Purbasari HI-MATTE Lip Cream available in 5 shades, and FREESIA is the darkest shade)
When I swatched it on my hand, I didn't need to layer it several times, the pigmentation is freaking amazing!
One swipe is enough, it's not patchy whatsoever, the texture is very smooth.
But, we can't believe only swatches, we need to put it to the real test, on our lips.
One thing that impressed me, this lip cream feels so light on the lips. You barely can tell if you wear anyhing! I dipped twice to fully-coat my lips. It's not bad at all. This matte lip cream is really matte. I love when a product does what it says! It's also kissproof, but not waterproof or smudgeproof. It'll still transfer if you eat or drink.
The texture is very smooth, just like when I swatched it. and, most importantly, it feels comfortable! Not drying at all, the pigmentation is lovely.
Longevity
Although this matte lip cream is not smudgeproof or waterproof, this lasts for a quiet long time. At least for 5 hours it will stay on your lips, especially if you don't eat something oily or messy. Even if it does fade through oily and messy food, it'll still leave some colour behind. For me, it's not a problem if I have to reapply. I'd rather reapply than having long-lasting liquid lipstick that's drying and make me having a chapped lips day.
Will I Recommend ?
100% YES! First, it's affordable. Second, it's pigmented and comfortable on the lips. Third, it's very easy to find. Fourth, it's longlasting!
